AHS owns Jerry Dotson Realty to assist our customers to
find the perfect land on which to locate their new home.
One of the biggest problems our customers face in building a modular home is finding the land to locate the home. Finding the right location for your new home is just as important as building the home itself. However, unless the customer already owns the land they wish to use, finding land can be difficult. This is because most realty companies do not like to deal in land sales because the price is lower so the sale does not earn as much commission. This means that most realty companies are not experts at land sales and are not familiar with the available land in the area.
To assist our customers, AHS owns Jerry Dotson realty, which acts as a buyer’s agent for our customers and specializes in finding the right land for our customers to build a new home. Jerry Dotson Realty focuses on land purchases, which allows them to be experts on the available land in Western North Carolina. They are also members of the Asheville and Hendersonville Board of Realtors. So, if finding land is a problem, AHS can help.

Alternative Housing Solutions opened in Fletcher, NC on September 21, 2000. AHS opened its Franklin, NC location in summer of 2004. AHS is a small, family run business. As such, it can give its customer’s better service and more attention than a larger company.
